Lube 2600 ND is a non-asphaltic, special resin based very heavy duty EP open gear lube. It is designed to coat the surfaces of large open gears with a flexible-fluid film coating which is extremely tenacious when applied properly to clean surfaces. It resists run off, wash off, displacement, and throw off even under high speeds and high load conditions. Its non asphaltic base makes it a, non hazardous, safe material for handling while the incorporation of EP agents enhance it load carrying and rust preventative properties. Gear Lube 2600 ND does not contain solvents or other diluents which retract from its ability to adhere. Open gear lubes based on asphaltic materials, are usually carcinogenic, and many contain environmentally negative solvents. Open gear lubes made with greases are usually easily displaced or squeezed out. The extremely heavy base in Gear Lube 2600 ND remains fluid, pliable, and free of cracking or checking under normal conditions of use. Its tenacious film is self healing, on the gears, if scratched, cut or abraded during use.
